India aims to preserve its assets in equity trading gains led by broadbased buying and positive global cues. Global markets are concentrated in hopes that the forthcoming European Union summit on Wednesday we will find solution to debt crisis. Among Asian markets, the Hang Seng rose by 4%. Straits Times, the KOSPI and the concentration of 2-3% in Taiwan, the Nikkei rose 1.6% and Shanghai rose just 0.35%. Share BSE Sensex jumped 30 per 268 17,053.48 and NSE Nifty 50-share moved from 81 points to 5,130.65 UPI.
Francesco Garzarelli of Goldman Sachs, said: "Intense negotiations among the politicians at the weekend caused little further material news. Global markets may be disappointed in the lack of solution for the EU summit. All eyes are now on Wednesday's summit."
Trader Atul Suri says India will soon break the trading range, as it is, and that too on the upside! "It's important to break the 5170-5200 Nifty upside in the short to medium term," he says. Suri also warns that 4700 could get re-tested if the negative news flow. "However, short-term rally is a great opportunity and we may see 10-12% gains Nifty 5600 levels," he says.
All fields were green, the restriction of capital goods index. BSE Auto, Realty and IT surged 2% each. Bank, Oil & Gas and Metal index rose from 1.5 to 1.8%.
Heavyweight TCS rose 3.5%. ONGC, Reliance Industries, Infosys, ICICI Bank, ITC, Hul, HDFC Bank, SBI, HDFC and Wipro gained 1-3%. Tata Motors was the top Gainer, concentration of 4%.
However, L & T lost another 1% today after its quarterly results on Friday. Reliance Communications fell 2%, post-trial on charges for all 17 accused (Raja, Kanimozi & others) 2G and Saturday. Bharti Airtel, Coal India and BPCL were slightly lower.
At 09.20 hours IST: Sensex shoots up 300 pts global rally
A good start trading day of Diwali - the 30-share BSE Sensex over 250 points and concentrated on the re-use all of their losses Friday after a strong global cues on optimism about the success in resolving the debt crisis.
European leaders have said that specific decisions would be made to a meeting on Wednesday.
EU officials suggest that the special purpose vehicle would be formed. Plans to help banks meet the specified inching towards a renewed and must contain the Greek debt crisis.
Back home, the Sensex 293 points from 17,078.56 and NSE Nifty 50-share surged 87 points to 5,136.55.
Axis Bank, SBI, ICICI Bank, HDFC, Tata Motors, JP Associates, DLF, Maruti Suzuki, TCS, Wipro, Sesa Goa, Sterling Industries (numbers in front), Tata Steel, JSPL, Hindalco, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Industries and ONGC were leading the market. L & T was slightly higher.
However, Reliance Communications fell by only 0.4% of post-trial on charges for all 17 accused (Raja, Kanimozi & others) for 2G.
CNX Midcap rose 77 points 7085th About six shares for each share of the fall of the NSE.
Reaction Results
> Polaris concentration of 6% of good advice.
> Suzlon Energy rose 3.5%
> Bank of Maharashtra has risen 5%.
> Federal Bank and Syndicate Bank were up 3%
> Asian Paints received only 0.4% of post disappointing results.
Harrisons Malyalam jumped 8% and JSW Steel were up 3%.
Kingfisher Airlines and Jet Airways rose from 2 to 3.5% of foreign direct investment newsletter.
Titan Industries achieved prior to this quarter's results. VIP Industries and Tata Coffee grew by 1.7%.
Global cues:
Asian markets were trading higher. Hang Seng rose over 3%. KOSPI rose 2.5%, and Taiwan. Nikkei and Straits Times received 1.4 to 1.7%. Shanghai was up 0.25%.
